Sacramento Hypnotherapy ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

It covers this website and the forms, booking links and newsletter signup on it. It does not cover what you share with us in person during sessions, which we keep confidential as part of our professional practice.

• Contact form: your name, phone number, email, the topic you'd like to work on, and your message.
• Client intake form: contact and address details, date of birth, emergency contact, and health information you choose to share, such as current conditions, medications, and your reasons for seeking hypnotherapy. You also type your name as an electronic signature.
• Newsletter signup: your name and email address.
• Booking: when you schedule online, you provide your name, contact details and appointment preferences to our scheduling provider.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect basic technical information: your browser and device type, pages visited, time on site, referring website, and an approximate location based on your IP address. We collect this through cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics.

How we use your information

• To respond to your questions and schedule consultations and sessions.
• To prepare for your sessions and provide safe, personalized care.
• To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the practice, and only as needed for them to do that work.

How we protect it

The site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to client information is limited to the staff and hypnotherapists who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please call us if you'd rather not share certain health details online.

We keep client records for as long as needed to provide services and meet our professional and legal obligations, then delete or securely destroy them.

Your choices

• Access, correction or deletion: contact us to see, update or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law.
• Newsletter: unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email.
• Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics, use Google's browser opt-out add-on.
• Do Not Track: our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

California residents

If you live in California, you can ask what personal information we've collected about you and how we've shared it, and ask us to delete it. We will not treat you differently for making a request. Contact us using the details below.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information online. For clients under 18, a parent or guardian completes the intake form and provides consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
